Kurt has recently become a part of the Pekin Archery Club, marking his second year with the group. Since 2018, he has been actively competing in 3D archery, demonstrating his commitment and skill in the sport. His involvement extends beyond competition; Kurt is also a member of the Archery Shooters Association (ASA), aligning himself with a broader community of archery enthusiasts. He has contributed to the local community by participating in the summer archery program through the Pekin Park District, helping to introduce the sport to younger generations.

Kurt holds the office of Practice Range Captain, a role in which he oversees and enhances the practice facilities for club members, ensuring a supportive environment for both novice and experienced archers alike.
